Terms of Service
The licence, technical requirements and purchase rights that apply to TripTale.
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Provider and scope
TripTale is provided by B is for Beer. Contact: bisforbeer.sales@gmail.com. These terms describe use of the travel planner and photo journal in the supplied browser/PWA or standalone HTML edition. Price, delivery, access period and included support must be stated in the purchase description and confirmation. Those specific promises remain part of your purchase.
2. Personal-use licence
A purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the supplied TripTale edition on your own devices, unless the purchase description expressly grants a different licence. You can keep multiple trips and export your own memories and backups. There is no automatic synchronisation between devices.
You may not resell, sublicense, distribute or publish the app or give others copies of the purchased product. This does not restrict rights granted by applicable law or the separate licences for third-party components/data identified in the app and DATA_SOURCES. Your photos, text and other original entries remain yours; these terms do not transfer their ownership to us.
3. Device requirements and offline use
Use a supported modern browser with JavaScript and browser storage enabled. Mobile file previews may not run the standalone HTML edition. The web/PWA edition needs internet for its first load, installation and offline preparation. Wait for “Ready offline” and test reopening before relying on it while travelling.
Browser limits, private browsing, clearing site data, device loss or changing browser can affect stored records. Export backups regularly and keep originals of important photos. A PDF memory book cannot restore the app’s data. These precautions do not remove rights relating to defective software.
4. Web access, updates and availability
The one-off purchase covers the licence and delivery described at checkout. The duration of hosted access, included updates and support follows the purchase description and applicable law; this page does not shorten a period already promised to you. Updates required by mandatory consumer law remain due.
The hosted edition may require platform sign-in or an access grant. Hosting and external services can have temporary interruptions or maintenance. We must honour the contractual supply period and any mandatory remedies. There is no separate cloud copy of your travel journal for us to restore.
5. Your content and travel decisions
Use only photos and other material you are entitled to store and share. Keep personal data, reservation references and exported backups secure. The app is intended for personal travel organisation.
TripTale does not make bookings, sell transport or accommodation, or provide live prices, emergency assistance or guaranteed route information. Check current booking terms, schedules and travel requirements with the relevant provider or authority. External services have their own terms.
6. Payments, cancellation and refunds
Where you purchase through Etsy, payments and order handling use that marketplace. Contact us through the order or at bisforbeer.sales@gmail.com about a purchase problem. Mandatory consumer rights apply regardless of a marketplace policy.
Any statutory withdrawal right, including the applicable cooling-off period, is preserved unless a lawful exception applies. A digital-content exception requires the legally required prior express agreement and acknowledgement for immediate supply; reading these terms or simply using the app does not by itself establish that waiver.
If the supplied app is faulty, not as described or not supplied as agreed, the applicable rights to correction, price reduction, termination or refund remain available. There is no blanket “no refunds” exclusion in these terms.
7. Responsibility and disputes
We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law and the purchase contract. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, remove statutory guarantees, or make the buyer solely responsible for a software defect.
Contact us first so we can investigate a problem. You retain access to competent consumer bodies and courts, and mandatory protections under the law applicable to your consumer contract.
8. Changes and contact
The update date identifies this version. Changes to these pages do not retrospectively take away rights already acquired under a purchase or replace any notice/agreement required by law. The English and Greek texts aim to describe the same terms; mandatory consumer protections prevail in the event of a difference.
